Morning Show Ratings: Week of July 7

morningshowanchors2014“Good Morning America” wins another week in the mornings in both viewers and the younger demo, beating second place “Today” by 826,000 viewers and 317,000 A25-54 demo viewews.

The ABC morning show’s demo victory was its biggest over “Today” in over six months (since the week of December 30, 2013). Compared to the same week last year, “GMA” was flat in viewers and up +4% in the demo.

“Today” was down -7% in viewers and -17% in the demo year-over-year. The NBC broadcast continues to be the top-rated morning show in the A18-49 demo.  Only “CBS This Morning” saw year-over-year growth in total viewers: up +6% in total viewers but down -13% in the demo.

  • Total Viewers: ABC: 4.864M / NBC: 4.038M / CBS: 2.845M
  • A25-54 viewers: ABC: 1.800M / NBC: 1.483M / CBS: 804K
