Morning Show Ratings: Week of February 3

MorningShowNEWSplit wins for the morning shows last week. NBC’s “Today” show wins among younger viewers, which hasn’t happened since mid-December, edging ABC’s “Good Morning America” by +18,000 viewers. “GMA” was the most-watched morning show with a +158,000 viewer advantage, stretching its winning streak to 77 weeks.

With the run-up to the Sochi Olympics, NBC saw the most year-to-year growth in both total viewers and the younger demo: up +22% and +20%, respectively.

“GMA” was also up year-over-year, +11% in total viewers and +16% in the demo. A mixed bag for “CBS This Morning” compared to the same week last year: the show is  up +8% in total viewers, but down -4% in the demo.

The averages for the week of February 3, 2014:

  • Total Viewers: ABC: 5.976M / NBC: 5.818M / CBS: 3.352M
  • A25-54 viewers: ABC: 2.370M / NBC: 2.388M / CBS: 1.155M
