“CBS This Morning” had its biggest audience in 11 years last week, since the week of Feb. 6, 2004. “CTM” was also the only morning show to grow compared to the same week last year.
The CBS morning show, which remains in third place behind “Good Morning America” and “Today,” was up +9% in viewers and up +2% in the A25-54 demo. ABC’s “GMA” won the week and had its biggest lead on No. 2 “Today” in three months among total viewers. Still, “GMA” was down -6% in viewers and down -12% in the demo.
NBC’s “Today” saw the biggest drop (-20% / -25%) compared to the same week last year, which was the first week of the Sochi Winter Olympics.
