Morning Show Ratings: Week of Feb. 23 and February Sweeps

morning show anchors_640“CBS This Morning” continues to show big growth in the mornings. For the just-finished February sweep, the CBS morning show had its best total viewer delivery in 20 years, since February 1995. “CTM” was the only show to grow compared to the Feb. 2014 sweep, up +10% in viewers and up +6% in the A25-45 demo.

“Good Morning America” had its third straight February win in Total Viewers its and its 2nd win in the last 3 years in the demo. In fact, this was “GMA’s” largest demo win over “Today” in a February sweep in 22 years. “GMA” was down -2% in viewers and down -8% in the demo vs. last February; NBC’s “Today” which took the demo last February with Olympics coverage from Sochi, was down -11% in viewers and down -8% in the demo.

  • A25-54 viewers: ABC: 2.111M / NBC: 1.997M / CBS: 1.144M

The averages for the week of Feb. 23, 2015:

  • Total Viewers: ABC: 6.066M / NBC: 5.217M / CBS: 3.644M
  • A25-54 viewers: ABC: 2.240M / NBC: 1.994M / CBS: 1.119M
