By Chris Ariens

“Good Morning America” wins the final week and the fourth quarter of 2012. In fact, it’s the first time “GMA” won a quarter in A25-54 viewers in more than 18 years – since Q3 1994.

But #3 “CBS This Morning” showed the most growth year-over-year, up +25% in total viewers and up +21% in younger viewers compared to the former “Early Show” which was in its final weeks of production.

“GMA” was up +12% in total viewers and up +11% in younger viewers, while “Today” is down double digits: -14% / -25%.

For the quarter, “GMA” topped “Today” by its largest quarter margins in Total Viewers and A25-54 in nearly 20 years — since Q2 1993 and Q2 1994, respectively.

Because of the Christmas holiday, each program’s averages are based on 3 days (Wed-Fri).
