Morning Show Ratings: Week of Dec. 10

Good news for ABC: Good Morning America was the most-watched morning show this past week after 7 consecutive weeks in second place.

With its total viewers win during the week of Dec. 10, GMA takes the top spot in the category at this point of the season for the 7th year in a row.

That said, the broadcast was -6 percent in total viewers and -10 percent in the key A25-54 demo vs. the comparable week in 2017.

Despite dropping back down into second place, NBC’s Today show still remained No. 1 in the younger news demos, including the coveted A25-54 category. The NBC morning has ranked No. 1 in the demo for 155 consecutive weeks, its best streak in more than six years, and has grown its lead in the A25-54 category from last season by +5 percent.

The broadcast was -14 percent in the demo and -8 percent in total viewers versus the comparable week last year, when the new Today show anchor duo of Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb were really rolling.

CBS This Morning was -15 percent in total viewers and -19 percent in the A25-54 demo vs. the comparable week last year.
