Morning Show Ratings: Week of August 6

Week two of its coverage from the 2012 London Olympics once again propelled NBC’s “Today” to a strong morning ratings win for the week of August 6-10.

Compared to the “Today” was up in both total and demo viewers, though “GMA” was up slightly in total viewers, and down only slightly in the demo. “CBS This Morning” was also only down slightly vs. last year.

Compared to week two of the Beijing Olympic games four years ago, “Today” was down -5% in total viewers.

The averages for the week of August 6:

  • Total Viewers: NBC: 5.905M / ABC: 4.364M / CBS: 2.201M
  • A25-54 viewers: NBC: 2.431M / ABC: 1.610M / CBS: 809K
