Morning Show Ratings: Week of Aug. 27

Another split decision in the mornings for the unofficial last week of summer 2018.

Good Morning America was most-watched while the Today show held the lead among younger viewers. The NBC morning show has won the demo for 140 consecutive weeks, its longest streak in more than six years. GMA remains No. 1 season-to-date for the 6th straight year.

But compared to the same week last year, all three morning shows continued their downward trend. GMA was down -10 percent in viewers and down -19 percent in the demo; Today was down -8 percent in viewers and down -15 percent in the demo and CBS This Morning was down -17 percent in viewers and down -22 percent in the demo compared to the same week in 2017.
