Morning Show Ratings: Week of August 27

“Good Morning America” wins another week as the networks aired split shows from the Republican National Convention, and covered Hurricane Isaac. “GMA” also gave a send-off to Robin Roberts who is now on medical leave.

With an +883,000 Total Viewer lead and a +152,000 demo lead, this was “GMA’s” biggest win over “Today” in more than 18 years.

Compared to the same week last year only “GMA” was up: +14% in total viewers and +13% in demo viewers. “Today” is down -8% / -17% and “CBS This Morning” is down -3% / -10%.

  • Total Viewers: ABC: 5.386M / NBC: 4.503M / CBS: 2.338M
  • A25-54 viewers: ABC: 1.969M / NBC: 1.817M / CBS: 857K
