“Good Morning America” wins another week, as the ABC morning show continues to see its largest season margins over No. NBC’s “Today” in both Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 in more than 22 years.
For the week of August 25, “Today” had its biggest A25-54 audience in three months, and cut GMA’s total viewer lead 33% compared to the same week last year.
But it was only “CBS This Morning” that saw total viewer growth vs.the same week last year, up +7% in viewers. “GMA” was down -5% and “Today” was flat. “GMA” was the only show to grow in the demo: +1%. “Today” and “CTM” were both down -4%.
