Today also won Friday across the board, the day of the Rio Olympics opening ceremony. Today fell 2 percent in total viewers, but gained 5 percent in A25-54 compared to the same week in 2015.

CBS This Morning continues to inch closer to GMA and Today. CTM delivered year-over-year growth this past week, both in total viewers (+5 percent) and in the key news demo (+2 percent).
