Morning Show Ratings: Week of April 7

morningshowanchors2014“Good Morning America” is the top morning show once again, and wins in the A25-54 demo by its widest margin in three months; it beat second-place “Today” by 279,000 demo viewers, its largest victory since the week of 12/30/13.

“GMA” also showed the most growth in total and demo viewers compared to the same week last year, up +2% and +8%, respectively. “Today’s” seven consecutive months of growth in total and demo viewers is its highest rate of growth in those categories since 1997 and 2001, respectively.

NBC’s “Today” was flat in total viewers year-over-year and down slightly in demo viewers, down -2%. “CBS This Morning” was also flat year-over-year in total viewers, and lost ground in the demo, down -8%.

  • Total Viewers: ABC: 5.617M / NBC: 4.856M / CBS: 3.041M
  • A25-54 viewers: ABC: 2.212M / NBC: 1.933M / CBS: 956,000
