Morning Show Rating: Week of Feb. 15

morning show anchors_640ABC’s Good Morning America wins the week in viewers and NBC’s Today show takes the demo, but only CBS This Morning saw viewer growth vs. same week last year. CTM was up +9 percent in viewers and up +4 percent in the demo. Good Morning America was down -13 percent in viewers and down -20 percent in the demo, while Today was down -9 percent and down -7 percent, respectively.

The Today show had its closest total viewer margin with GMA since the Sochi Olympics, trailing by just 44,000 viewers.

While CTM still trails GMA and Today by more than a million viewers, the CBS show closed the viewer gap with NBC by 770,000 viewers and with ABC by 1.05 million viewers.

Due to the Presidents’ Day holiday, all Monday telecasts were coded as specials and excluded from the weekly averages.

The averages for the week of Feb. 15:

  • Total Viewers: ABC: 4.915M / NBC: 4.871M / CBS: 3.856M
  • A25-54 viewers: ABC: 1.671M / NBC: 1.907M / CBS: 1.146M
