Morning Show Notes

By Chris Ariens

• Today on Good Morning America, Robin Roberts talked about losing her hair due to her chemotherapy treatments. Said Roberts, “For so many, when you’re first diagnosed, one of the first thoughts is about the side effects of chemotherapy. And the one side effect that comes to mind, loss of hair. I am no stranger to that side effect of losing your hair.” Roberts’ battle with breast cancer will be featured in the upcoming edition of People.

Faith Hill will perform for a special Today show concert Monday morning. The concert is dedicated to troops fighting the war in Iraq and will be simulcast to the soldiers at Camp Prosperity in central Baghdad as well as to troops recovering at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. The soldiers at Walter Reed will assemble in the gym to watch the concert live. Troops from numerous branches of the military will also gather on Rockefeller Plaza to watch the performance.
