“Nearly a decade has passed since GMA won a week against top-rated Today,” USAT’s Peter Johnson writes. But preliminary numbers for last Monday to Thursday “had the gap at less than 10,000; each drew about 5.6 million viewers. > Update: 7:50am: An NBC representative says USA Today miscalculated the numbers. According to their preliminary numbers, the gap is between 50,000 and 70,000 viewers. Numbers for Friday will come in later today…
