Morgan Radford Joins NBC News

Morgan Radford is joining NBC News as a correspondent based in New York. Radford joins from Al Jazeera America, where she has been an anchor and correspondent since the network launched in 2013. Before that she was an anchor for ABC News Now.

“In a short amount of time, Morgan has built a broad range of experience covering domestic and international stories, including the 2012 Presidential election, the Boston Marathon bombing, the Washington Navy Yard shooting, the Metro-North train crash, the evolution of U.S./Cuban relations and the legacy of Nelson Mandela,” writes NBC News SVP David Verdi in a note to staff, obtained by TVNewser.

The Greensboro, NC native graduated from Harvard with a degree in Social Studies. She has a Master’s in broadcast journalism from Columbia University.
