More Morning Show Moves: ‘Today’ Supervising Producer Takes Buyout

By Chris Ariens

Among the MSNBC/NBC News staffers taking a buyout from the company is 10-year NBC veteran Javier Morgado. Morgado told staffers late last week he would be leaving the #1 morning show. He’s been supervising producer of “Today” for three years and before that was a senior editor at the NBC News assignment desk. Morgado joined NBC in 1999 at Miami station WTVJ. Morgado’s last day at “Today” is Dec. 18.
