Two more Fox News executives have left the company, CNNMoney reports.
Brigette Boyle, who was svp of recruitment, joined Fox News upon graduating from college in 1998. A Fox spokeswoman told CNN Boyle’s departure was “mutual and amicable.” Boyle was a major part of staffing the launches of Fox Business Network, Fox News Latino and Fox News Headlines 24/7. During her time at Fox she got her MBA from Fordham.
Nikole King, who was svp of business development and mobile for Fox News, is also out. Her job was eliminated.
Both Boyle and King began their careers at Fox as assistants to former FNC CEO Roger Ailes who resigned from the channel last month following a lawsuit and internal investigation into sexual harassment claims. Judy Laterza, who was Ailes’s head assistant, and who had an svp title, was among the first to depart after Ailes. They had worked together for decades. Four days after Ailes’ departure, evp Michael Clemente, who headed up a longform unit, and his No. 2 Peter Boyer, were both let go.
News Corp. executive chairman and 21st Century Fox executive co-chairman Rupert Murdoch continues as the news channel’s interim CEO. He’s been running the daily news meetings and recently moved into Ailes’ former office at company’s Sixth Avenue headquarters.
