Moonves: “We’ve Got To Move Forward Or Else The People Watching Our Evening News Are Going To Be Dead…”

Good news about CBS News, courtesy Les Moonves: “We’re not blowing up the building. We’re looking to modernize it a bit.”

In an interview with Reuters today, Moonves offered no timeline but said it will not be “much longer” before the newly appointed head of the CBS News division, Sean McManus, announces changes.

“Sean’s going to do it when he’s ready,” he said.
