Mideast Crisis Keeps Biz Nets on the Air

The growing protests across the Muslim world — from Morocco and Libya in Africa to Bahrain and Yemen in the Persian Gulf and Arab peninsula — are keeping the U.S. business networks on the air today. Fox Business Network, which rarely takes a Monday holiday off, even when the markets are closed, is live again today. CNBC, which had planned to be in tape, is live until NoonET. Bloomberg is in taped programming. With Wall Street closed for the holiday, close attention is being paid to a sharp rise in crude oil prices.
