“I must say that I am growing increasingly tired of the way they hype her role as chief foreign correspondent,” an e-mailer says. “As a viewer, I couldn’t care less about the internal hierarchies within CBS News. When Schieffer announces it again and again (twice in Tuesday’s broadcast, same Monday), I feel he’s wasting valuable time on anything but a slow news day.
Having been very bullish on Logan just a few months ago, I am a bit surprised myself at how quickly I have tired of her. Maybe it’s because of the way they make her more important than the stories themselves. I wonder if it’s just me…”
