Steve Capus, Jim Bell, Matt Lauer, Meredith Vieira, Ann Curry, and Al Roker toasted the Today Show staff this morning in Studio 1A. A tipster says Bell welcomed Vieira and saluted the hosts for a great show.
“Bell thanked and toasted the behind the scenes people who made 1A renovate happen in three months while overseeing the show’s production on the temporary set,” an insider says. “Matt then thanked the staff for making him look good for 13 years and told Meredith that these are the people who will do the same for you.”
The insider also says Vieira got a little teary eyed when she addressed the staff “and talked about how proud she is to be part of the Today team…”
