Melissa Francis Tears Up Discussing Trump’s News Conference

An emotional moment happened on Outnumbered today when FBN anchor Melissa Francis and panelist Marie Harf argued over the meaning and message behind some of Pres. Trump’s comments at his news conference yesterday.

“I am so uncomfortable having this conversation because I know what’s in my heart. And I know that I don’t think anyone is different, better, or worse based on color of their skin, but there is nothing any of us can say right now without being judged,” said Francis through tears.

“There have been a lot of tears on our network and across the country and across the world,” said a consoling Harris Faulkner. “It’s a difficult place where we are, but it’s not where we’ve been, it’s where we are. This is not 1950. We can do this. We can have this conversation. Yes we can. And it’s okay if we cry having it.”

Last evening, FNC’s Kat Timpf was emotional on air as well following Trump’s news conference. “It’s disgusting,” Timpf said of the president’s remarks, adding she didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.
