Megyn Kelly’s NBC Morning Show Takes Shape

As has been speculated, Today’s Take, the 9 a.m. hour of NBC’s Today, is the odd hour out as the network looks to find a home for Megyn Kelly.

This morning, Today show SVP Noah Oppenheim met with 15-20 staffers who work on the third and fourth hours of the show. He told them Kelly’s show would air at either 9 a.m or 10 a.m. And if it’s 10, Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford would move to 9 a.m. An insider described it as an open discussion, but not everyone left feeling upbeat. The changes happen in the fall. Variety reports Kelly is expected to join NBC in May, following the expiration of her Fox News contract.

Today’s meeting with staffers came one day after 9 a.m. co-host Al Roker tweeted his congratulations to the Today’s Take crew:
