The wives of the two men leading the race for the GOP nomination continue to be a storyline today, at least on Twitter. Late last night, Donald Trump retweeted @Don_Vito_08 a “PhD, MBA, Neurosurgeon…Retired, but still willing to Make America Great Again,” who tweeted this:
"@Don_Vito_08: "A picture is worth a thousand words" @realDonaldTrump #LyingTed #NeverCruz @MELANIATRUMP pic.twitter.com/5bvVEwMVF8"

Less than an hour later, Cruz fired back:
Donald, real men don't attack women. Your wife is lovely, and Heidi is the love of my life. https://t.co/pprXhIMzUT

Taking a break from her vacation this morning, Megyn Kelly even weighed in:
Seriously? https://t.co/pPBJkKDUwG

This all started when a Super PAC supporting Ted Cruz published a nearly nude picture of Melania Trump from a 2000 GQ photo-shoot. Trump responded that he would “spill the beans” on Cruz’s wife, Heidi. It went downhill from there.
