Megyn Kelly Signs Off Fox News

By Chris Ariens

Megyn Kelly has signed off Fox News for the last time, hosting her final Kelly File Friday night.

“A final word before we go,” she began.

Night after night, you have welcomed us into your homes. For some of the biggest moments in recent history. We have tried to live up to the honor of being there. I am sincerely grateful for your trust, your patience, and your good humor over the years. Which is one of the reasons why saying good-bye is so hard. But the truth is, I am lucky to have been doing a job whose ending is bittersweet. And I leave you knowing I am better for having been here. I hope you feel the same. Thank you, for everything. I will see you again, soon.

Kelly will be joining NBC when her current Fox contract expires in July. She will host a daytime show produced by NBC News, likely the 9am hour of the Today show, as well as a Sunday night newsmagazine show.

Sean Hannity then picked up. “We want all wish Megyn Kelly our best and we will miss her here at Fox,” said Hannity. Tucker Carlson‘s show moves to the Kelly File time slot tomorrow night.
