Megyn Kelly on Debut Show: ‘I Am Kind of Done with Politics for Now’

Megyn Kelly Today is off and running.

On the debut episode of the new third hour of the Today show, the former Fox News prime time star raised some eyebrows and drew applause from her studio audience when she said, “I am kind of done with politics for now.”

Last week, even before the divisiveness over the weekend involving Pres. Trump, the NFL, and the national anthem, Kelly lamented the political divide in the country. “Must everything be political? Everything? EVERYTHING! I’m sick of it. And I’m not the only one,” Kelly told TVNewser.

While she can avoid political discussions on her breezy morning show, politics will unavoidably seep into the conversation from time to time.

As for her debut show, it began with a monologue of sorts with Kelly introducing herself to NBC’s morning show viewers in a brand new Studio 6A. WATCH:
