In an interview with Charlie Rose on CBS Sunday Morning, Fox News Channel host Megyn Kelly said “it was a dark moment” when Donald Trump attacked her on The O’Reilly Factor.
Asked by Rose if she expected Bill O’Reilly to defend her when Trump said he had “zero respect” for Kelly and didn’t “think she’s any good at what she does,” Kelly said “I wish he had defended me more…I would’ve defended him more.”
Kelly: I think Bill did the best he’s capable of doing in those circumstances–
Rose: Well, that’s– that’s damning with faint praise. “The best he’s capable of doing”?
Kelly: Listen, as– as Bill is fond of saying– I would’ve handled it differently.Advertisement
