Megyn Kelly: ‘I’m Finding the Balance, and it Feels Great’

By Merrill Knox

megyn kellyMegyn Kelly gets her second profile this week in Parade. In the Q+A, the mother of three talks about managing her career and her family: “I’m finding the balance, and it feels great,” she says. Kelly also reflects on how women are treated differently in law and in media:

There was much more paternalism in my legal career. Older male lawyers from other firms would say, “Your skirt needs to be below your knee” or “You shouldn’t wear slingback shoes.” Ridiculous comments they had no business making because they thought they knew better about what would play with the jury and how women would perceive another woman. I haven’t had that in television. I get a lot of feedback from female viewers saying, “You’re a role model for my daughter.”

Kelly will talk with Mike Huckabee about his controversial comments on women and birth control on “The Kelly File” tonight.
