Megyn Kelly Drops By the CNN Grill, Thanks to a Don Lemon Invite

The CNN Grill at XFINITY Live, the only on-site entertainment venue inside the DNC secure zone, was quite a scene last night. After co-hosting Fox News’s coverage of DNC Night 3, Megyn Kelly dropped by along with her FNC colleague Dana Perino. (Just so you’re following along: Fox News hosts, at a CNN party housed inside a complex owned by NBC’s parent company.)

According to Politico’s Hadas Gold, Kelly and and Perino were accompanied by “at least three bodyguards.”

The pair mostly kept to themselves, save for chatting with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, Don Lemon and Jeff Zucker. Kelly was nursing what appeared to be a mixed drink and Perino a glass of wine. There were some selfies with fans and even an official shot from an event photographer. One guest was overheard talking to Kelly about looking for a job. “I might need one soon as well,” Kelly joked.

Kelly’s Fox News contract is up next summer.

The Philadelphia edition of the CNN Grill has had more celebrity sightings than the Cleveland version. On Monday night, TVNewser spotted several members of the creative coalition, including actors David Schwimmer, Veep’s Reid Scott, Troian Bellisario of Pretty Little Liars and others. On Tuesday night we spotted Billy Baldwin chatting with Gov. Andrew Cuomo. (His brother, CNN anchor Chris Cuomo, has been anchoring New Day from the Grill each morning.) Last week, another Baldwin brother, Stephen, a Trump supporter, dropped by the CNN Grill at the RNC. And, yes, that’s gossip columnist Cindy Adams at far right in the picture below.
