Last Sunday’s half-China, half-DC Meet the Press beat its competition. The Olympics likely helped, but being on earlier in some markets or not at all in others (89% coverage) didn’t.
The program averaged 3.354 million Total Viewers; 37% more than CBS’ “Face the Nation;” 50% more than ABC’s “This Week;” and 185% more than FOX News Sunday. Tom Brokaw hosted the first part of the show from Beijing, while David Gregory moderated a journalist round-table from Washington.
