McGinnis: “How We Tell The Story”

For the record: CBS VP Marcy McGinnis on the future of the CBS Evening News: “It’s still a half-hour broadcast of hard news. It’s about telling stories and that’s not going to change. How we tell the story, whether the correspondent becomes more engaged in the piece, whether the sound bites are longer, that could change. It may be a little more current in terms of format and look but the basic story telling, that’s what the show is.”
