Marsha Cooke Named Asia Bureau Chief for CBS News

Marsha Cooke has been named Asia Bureau Chief for CBS News. Cooke has been working in Tokyo and Beijing since April 2006 alongside correspondent Barry Petersen. She’s been with CBS News since 1993, getting her start in the Los Angeles bureau and eventually producing for the “CBS Evening News with Dan Rather”.

Cooke was recently honored with a Gracie Award for her series of reports on the devastating earthquake in China.
