Fox Business anchor Maria Bartiromo, NBC News special correspondent Tom Brokaw and CBS News 60 Minutes correspondent Steve Kroft were among the honorees at this year’s Giants of Broadcasting and Electronic Arts Celebration in New York.
The 14th annual event, organized by The Library of American Broadcasting, honors innovators, entrepreneurs, programmers and journalists who “collectively have created a new communications form whose effect has been no less than to transform mankind.”
“I am honored and humbled to be included in this incredibly esteemed group,” Bartiromo told TVNewser. “I also feel blessed to have been able to be witness to, and participate in, some of the most important events of our time. It feels like the beginning again because I am having the most fun I’ve had in a long time and am working as hard as I ever have.”
