Marash: “It Has Been An Honor & A Pleasure To Be A Nightliner”

By Brian

On the Marash.TV blog, longtime Nightline contributor Dave Marash says goodbye to his colleagues at ABC News:

For the second time in 25 years, I find myself about to leave ABC News. The last time, it was my choice, this time it is the company’s.

So I guess we’re even. Actually, I know better. I am deeply endebted to ABC News for giving me 16 years in ‘professional Heaven,’ Ted Koppel’s Nightline.

Nightline subordinated, or at the very least, harmonized, personality and style to an aggressively transparent presentation of the complexities and complications that define the Real World Out There. Truly, Nightline has been a ‘first draft of history,’ not of Page 6.

It has been an honor and a pleasure to be a Nightliner.
