Lou Dobbs More Trustworthy Than George Bush On Immigration

By Brian

I missed this item in the Washington Post last Thursday: When it comes to the subject of immigration, more Americans trust Lou Dobbs than President Bush, according to a survey by MWR Strategies. (Here’s how the data appeared in print. It’s also up on the Post’s Web site.)

When asked “Which of the following do you trust the most on immigration?,” 37 percent said Lou, 31 percent said George, and 32 percent said they didn’t know.

On Thursday’s Situation Room, Dobbs said “I think I need to talk to that 32 percent who don’t know. We’ve got to have a real discussion about that,” he said, adding, “it’s very, very flattering.”
