London 7/7: CNBC In “War Room Mode”

An insider says morale at CNBC is higher after coverage of the London bombings. “The CNBC newsroom kicked into ‘war room’ mentality pretty quickly,” the employee e-mails to TVNewser. “David Friend really did go into military general mode, dispatching crews and live trucks around the world to cover the stock market reaction. Apparantly Liz Claman, who was at the studio early, dispatched herself to the New york Stock Exchange and ended up co-anchoring her show live from Wall Street. Because her truck got there so early, CNN was shut out of the only live truck parking spot in front of the NYSE. Ron Insana didn’t move from his phones and camera for about 11 hours.
