LinkedIn unveiled its Next Wave list of 150 professionals, under the age of 35, who are changing the way we do business. The list is broken up into 15 different industries, with several TV newsers and journalists making the cut in the media category.
Fusion editor of storytelling and special projects Nuria Net, Bloomberg’s Joe Weisenthal and CNBC San Francisco bureau chief Mary Catherine Wellons are featured on the list. The New Wave is the first in a quarterly series called LinkedIn Lists, which celebrates different types of individuals and companies that are transforming their respective fields.
LinkedIn executive editor Daniel Roth said, “in a network of more than 380 million professionals, surfacing 150 names isn’t trivial. We relied on a combination of data, editorial insights and Influencer ideas to forge the list.”
