Like Morning and Evening Counterparts, ‘CBS Sunday Morning’ Also Adding Viewers

By Chris Ariens

The stalwart “CBS Sunday Morning,” which has long led broadcast ratings on Sunday mornings, continues to show growth. Last Sunday’s show, with fill-in anchor Lee Cowan, was up +18% in the A25-54 rating and up +16% in total viewers compared to the same week last year.

All CBS News programs have been on a run lately. While CBS This Morning and the CBS Evening News still place third in their national timeslots, they are showing consistent growth. “60 Minutes” — which just finished its 45th season — was once again the #1 news program on TV.
