Well, maybe not quite that many but would you settle for a lot of millions? Like 43.5 million?

According to a release from CBS Sports, that number “is projected to be the highest viewer average and most-watched Divisional Playoff game on any network (dating as far back as CBS records exist, 1987-88).”

Viewership was up 22 percent from last year’s game between the Jets and the San Diego Chargers and the household rating/share of 24.2/42 was up 20 percent.

CBS had a big weekend elsewhere as well. The Pittsburgh Steelers-Baltimore Ravens game earned a 19.4/38, up 14 percent from the previous year.

And then there’s this: “The NFL on CBS averaged 38.5 million viewers for its two AFC Divisional Playoff games making it the highest viewer average ever for any network’s two AFC or NFC games during a Divisional Playoff weekend.”
