Lester Holt, “who gets in at 5 a.m. on the weekends,” will be working through 7 p.m. with his new assignment as co-host of Today Weekend and anchor of NBC Nightly News Weekend.
Holt tells the AP: “The only thing I asked was, ‘Can I go home for a few minutes?'” (He’ll actually have a couple hours off.)
