Lauer Keeps Politics Out Of “Ends Of The Earth”

Matt Lauer tells the NYPost‘s Michael Starr the Today show’s global adventure, which begins Monday, will be apolitical. “We are not going there for two days to take a political stand,” Lauer told Starr.

“We’ll give you the information and then you decide,” he says. “In Antarctica, for example, the ice there on the shield is melting twice as fast as experts thought 10 years ago. Is it a normal pattern of climate change? Is it global warming?,” Lauer asks.
