Larry/Paris: Instant Analysis On 360

By Brian

Anderson Cooper pretended to fact-check the Larry King/Paris Hilton interview during a “Paris Speaks” edition of 360.

“We can’t be above the news of the moment,” he said at the top of the show.

“It was interesting to observe Anderson’s personal disdain towards Paris Hilton,” an e-mailer says.

Indeed, Cooper acted disgusted by Hilton, stating at the top: “I think we heard a couple of you screaming at the screens” during King’s interview.

Later, one of Cooper’s guests accused him of bias. People Magazine’s Jess Cagle, who wrote the Paris cover story, said: “I think everybody here tonight among us actually sorta did like her during this interview — except for you!”

“Well, you know, I know, I don’t really, I don’t understand her. I don’t understand her appeal, I don’t understand what she’s done. But we can talk about that coming up — showing my own bias here…”
