In what is being billed as his “first national product endorsement” since leaving his CNN anchor perch, Larry King and wife Shawn have taped a commercial for BreathGemz, a breath freshener.
“Having fresh breath is a very important thing to me,” King says in the spot. The product, Shawn adds, works “even if we eat a meal with garlic and onions!”
According to a press release, it’s the first time the couple has appeared together in such a promotional effort.
But King’s role with BreathGemz also goes further. “We love this product so much,” King is quoted as saying, “we have become part of the Gemz family as partners.”
King, as you may recall, also is a partner in The Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Company, an arrangement announced last summer.
