Just days after returning to “60 Minutes,” correspondent Lara Logan has been admitted to a Washington, D.C. hospital. “We were sorry to learn that Lara was readmitted to the hospital,” a “60 Minutes” spokesman told TVNewser. “We wish her a speedy recovery.”
Logan spent time in a hospital in February for internal bleeding, which Breitbart reports is part of the ongoing complications from a brutal attack in Cairo in 2011.
Logan has described the sexual assault as “merciless,” and told The New York Times “the physical wounds heal. You don’t carry around the evidence the way you would if you had lost your leg or your arm in Afghanistan.”
