LaPook to the Rescue at Yankee Stadium

By Chris Ariens

The NYPost has the story of CBS News correspondent Michelle Miller who was hit by a foul ball at Yankee Stadium the other night. The ball hit her in the head, hard enough that it knocked her to the ground. But it turns out CBS medical correspondent Dr. Jon LaPook, was just 15 rows behind Miller. “She was on the ground with an earful of blood, but she can really take a punch,” LaPook tells Page Six. After some medical attention from LaPook, Miller returned to her seat, and the fan who caught the ball after it bounced off her head gave it to her.
