Kurtz, Sesno Media Criticism at Dawn

Well, it’ll be dawn in Anchorage. When Howard Kurtz’s “MediaBuzz” debuts on Fox News tomorrow at 11amET, he’ll be going up against his old show, “Reliable Sources” on CNN which this week will be hosted by Frank Sesno, a former CNN DC bureau chief, now director of of the School of Media and Public Affairs at the George Washington University.

Syria will be the hot topic on both shows. “Reliable Sources” will also discuss new Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos dropping in on the newsroom this week. Sesno will also discuss political reporting with Peter Hamby, who this week was named national political reporter for CNN digital. His report on the use of Twitter during the 2012 campaign from his fellowship at the Shorenstein Center at Harvard was made public this week. CNN contributor Kevin Madden , who worked on the Romney campaign, and PBS NewsHour’s Christina Bellantoni will also guest.
