Kurt Warner will be doing more than dancing with the stars this year.

NFL Network, which recruted Joe Theismann, signed up the two-time MVP and Fox colorman to its growing lineup of analysts. He’ll make his debut on the network in Wednesday night’s two-hour NFL Total Access: 2010 Season Preview.

“Kurt’s accomplishments on the field speak for themselves,” Eric Weinberger, executive producer NFL Network, said in a statement. “We welcome him as he transitions from a Hall of Fame-caliber playing career to broadcasting, where he joins our roster of all-pro analysts.”

Warner, who went from supermarket shelf stocker to Super Bowl XXXIV winner, isn’t new to the television game. He served on NFL Network’s Arena Football Friday and called the Arena Bowl in August. He already knows the value of a soundbyte, quipping ” “This season I look forward to talking about the hits and not taking them for the first time.”
