Kimberly Guilfoyle ‘Flattered and Honored’ to Be Considered for White House Role

Fox News co-host Kimberly Guilfoyle says she was “very flattered and honored” to be considered for the Press Secretary position in the Trump White House. “I’m a patriot,” Guilfoyle told TVNewser in an interview this morning, “Like my late father who came here and served his country as a member of the U.S. Army.”

Guilfoyle was on the shortlist for the job which eventually went to Sean Spicer, who was communications director for the RNC.

“I would be flattered and honored to be considered for any position where I could serve my country,” Guilfoyle said, adding, “I love working for Fox News, and I feel like I play for the Yankees every day. I’m with the best lineup in the business.

“I have my eye on the ball, and I am focused on the new year at Fox News, and I’m really excited about what we can do,” she said. In the short term that includes co-hosting FNC’s New Year’s Eve coverage with Eric Bolling. We’ll have more from Guilfoyle and Bolling tomorrow about their plans to ring in 2017.
