Katie Couric to Bill O’Reilly: ‘Why Do You Keep Killing People Bill?’

By Jordan Chariton

CouricIn an interview earlier this week for Yahoo!, Katie Couric spoke with Bill O’Reilly about his new book “Killing Patton.”

“Why do you keep killing people Bill?” Couric asked about O’Reilly’s four books about the murders of Abraham Lincoln, John F. Kennedy, Jesus, and now George Patton. “People want to know about history in an entertaining way,” O’Reilly answered, adding his new book is interesting because he believes General Patton wasn’t accidentally killed like the U.S. army told the world.

The two also touched on President Obama’s actions toward ISIS and the media coverage of the shooting of Michael Brown and subsequent protests in Ferguson, Missouri.”The media coverage convicted the police officer. And that’s wrong. But I said many times, if the police officer did shoot — Michael Brown unnecessarily, and that should be able to be proven by all the FBI and all the state of Missouri people we have in there, he should go to jail for the rest of his life,” O’Reilly said.
